ABOUT COLLEGE
Government College Sunni came into being in 2006. Sunni town, a pristine place, rests deep in a scenic valley and is at a distance of about 50 kms from Shimla on the state highway 13. It is en route to the famous tourist spot Tattapani. Initially the college started functioning in Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Sunni temporarily and later was shifted to the building formerly known as Intern Medical Hostel, IGMC. The college started functioning from the new building w.e.f. September, 2012. ...

My Dear students,
Welcome you all to the new academic session 2023-2024, with God's Blessings. As we step out from our schools and homes to shape our future after the Corona Pandemic we face new challenges in life. The pandemic has affected the World Economy at large. But it is the human will power and intelligence that can fight against the adversities and we can march ahead for a bright future. As someone has rightly said "Necessity is the mother of invention” and we have witnessed this ever since man came to this Planet Earth. Man has made tremendous progress since then. Adversities make us strong and man has time and again come up with new inventions, as history has proved it. As we are noticing the new technologies have changed the face of this earth. The computers, the internet, the cell phones, and many other technologies have brought knowledge, training to our doorsteps. The world has become digital now, We need to learn these technologies, to develop ourselves and keep pace with development and progress. We do not want to be left behind, but we must keep ahead with other countries ofthis world.
