Ragging is a Criminal Offense: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited both inside and outside the college campus. It is a criminal offense punishable under law.

What Constitutes Ragging?

Ragging includes any act that causes or is likely to cause physical, psychological, or emotional harm to any student. This includes:

  • Teasing, abusing, or playing practical jokes
  • Forcing someone to perform any act that causes shame or embarrassment
  • Physical or mental harassment

Anti-Ragging Committee: Our college has a dedicated Anti-Ragging Committee to prevent and address incidents of ragging. The committee includes faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives.

How to Report Ragging:

Support for Victims:

  • Immediate protection and support
  • Confidential counseling services
  • Prompt investigation and action

Consequences of Ragging:

  • Suspension from the college
  • Expulsion from the hostel
  • Rustication from the institution
  • Legal action as per the law

Pledge: Every student is required to sign an anti-ragging affidavit as part of their admission process, affirming their commitment to refrain from any act of ragging.

  • Support your peers and report any incidents
